El Viernes 5 de junio de 2009 a las 18:30hs se celebrará en el Honorable Consejo Deliberante de la Municipalidad de Guaymallén la Asamblea Joven “Demandas Juveniles Hoy” en el marco del proyecto Incidencia Juvenil en Políticas Públicas que lleva a cabo la Red de Organizaciones Juveniles de Mendoza junto a Logolink Latinoamérica y CIVICUS con el respaldo local de la Dirección de Derechos Humanos de la Municipalidad de Guaymallén. Diferentes jóvenes del departamento desde el 21 de Mayo de 2009 han participado del Dictado de Talleres participativos facilitados por jóvenes en diversos espacios públicos (escuelas, centros vecinales, centros comunitarios, etc.).
En los mismos se trabajaron las siguientes temáticas: Participación Juvenil ¿Por qué y cómo participar siendo joven? Elecciones legislativas y su importancia. Con esta actividad los jóvenes de Guaymallén han accedido a la concientización para la Participación y la Incidencia de los y las Jóvenes en Políticas Públicas de forma responsable y comprometida. En la Asamblea Joven dialogarán con los y las candidatos/as a Concejal por el municipio de diferentes espacios políticos. Éstos presentarán sus propuestas y visiones en torno a la Juventud de Guaymallén y a su vez serán interpelados por Organizaciones de la Sociedad Civil que trabajen con jóvenes, adolescentes y niños en el departamento.
